DESCRIPTION:This class is most beneficial for mom’s who have already delivered\, and are in the last month or so of maternity leave. This class teaches mom’s how to build and maintain the milk supply while working. The class is good for any mom who will be returning to work or has questions about pumping and feeding pumped milk along with breastfeeding. One on one appointment may also be scheduled with Bethany Loyd\, certified lactation consultant\, by calling the WinnMed OB department at 563-387-3030.

Payment is due at the door. \n  \nParents learn what to expect during labor and delivery\, including: stages of labor\, birth plans\, labor positions\, breathing techniques and relaxation\, breast feeding\, newborn care and pain control options.  Delivering moms will also learn more about epidural anesthesia which is available at WinnMed 24 hours a day\, every day. \nIt’s recommended that participants wear comfortable clothing.
