WinnMed Grand Community Picnic

WinnMed will hold their Community Picnic on Thursday, September 24 from 5-7 pm on the WinnMed campus.

Steve Slessor, WinnMed Chief Administrative Officer, says, “Our Community Picnic is one of our favorite opportunities to thank our patients, families, and communities for their continued support. This year, we’re especially excited to celebrate the completion of Transforming Tomorrow, a project that reflects our commitment to providing exceptional healthcare close to home for generations to come. We invite everyone to join us for a fun evening of great food, entertainment and community as we mark this important milestone together.”

Free Community Picnic Attractions

• BBQ pork sandwich catered by U2 BBQ, chips and water
• Game/activity area for kids, including a sand area
• Popcorn & Pokey Pete rides from the Lion’s Club
• Live music by Mike McAbee
• Bingo with prizes
• Hands-Only CPR training sessions, sponsored by the WinnMed Foundation and the Dr. Kevin Locke EMS Provider Endowment Fund

Sugar Bowl ice cream will also be available for purchase throughout the evening.

More Information

The picnic is made possible with the help of staff volunteers from WinnMed, the WinnMed Auxiliary and WinnMed Foundation, and will be held rain or shine.

Convenient parking will be available, with regular Earl Bus rides from WinnMed parking lots to the event site, which will be centered near the Main Entrance and Parking Lot A.
