WinnMed Auxiliary awards scholarships to local students

The WinnMed Auxiliary recently awarded scholarships to five local students pursuing health care professions.

• Trisha Reicks, Decorah, attending NICC for Nursing
• Delaynee Frey, Decorah, attending Allen College for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Rachael Tieskoetter, Ossian, attending Allen College for Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography
• Angela Schmidt, Monona, attending NICC for Nursing
• Emma Johnson, Decorah, attending Des Moines University for Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies

The WinnMed Auxiliary offers their annual Health Career Scholarship to residents of Winneshiek County, WinnMed employees, or dependents of WinnMed employees pursuing a health care profession. The applicant must be accepted into an accredited health career program to be eligible.
