The Winneshiek Medical Center Auxiliary recently awarded scholarships to nine local students pursuing health care professions. Typically, scholarships are awarded at the annual Spring Brunch; however, the event was not held this year.
Scholarship recipients and their field of study were: Arielle Gossman, Decorah, Radiology Technology, NICC; Trevor Phillips, Decorah, Doctor of Optometry, Indiana University School of Optometry; Elizabeth Tieskoetter, Ossian, Nursing, NICC; Mia French, Calmar, Nursing, NICC; Sadie McGee, Ossian, Radiology Technology, NICC; Mikaila Murray, Decorah, Radiology Technology, NICC; Karissa Stika, Cresco, Pre-Licensure Nursing Program, Minnesota State University; Katelyn Dehning, Decorah, Nursing, NICC; Skylar Luzum, Ft Atkinson, BSN, Allen College.
The Winneshiek Medical Center Auxiliary offers their annual Health Career Scholarship to residents of Winneshiek County pursuing a health care profession. The applicant must be accepted into an accredited health career program to be eligible.
