Farmers Market Senior Nutrition Program Coupon Distribution

Enjoy locally grown fruits and vegetables with the WinnMed Farmers Market Senior Nutrition Program (WinnMed FMSNP). WinnMed FMSNP is funded by United Way, with participating vendors from the Decorah Farmers Markets.

Eligibility

Winneshiek County residents age 65 or older are eligible to receive coupons. There are no income guidelines for the program.

Program Guidelines

Farmers Market coupons can only be used at the Decorah Farmers Market between June 2025 and December 31, 2025. Please do not try to use these coupons at your regular grocery store. They will not accept them. Each participant will receive ten coupons for the 2025 season. ID cards will be issued when you pick up your set of coupons. Coupons will be distributed on a first come, first served basis until they are gone. Be sure to take your WinnMed FMSNP ID card with you to the Farmers Markets in Decorah when redeeming your coupons. coupons cannot be accepted by the farmers without your ID card. Other family members may do the shopping for you, but they will need to take your ID card with them. Look for the green-colored signs at the Farmers Markets that say, “WinnMed 2025 Farmers Market Coupons Accepted Here”. These are the only farmers certified to accept coupons. Use your special coupons to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables only. They cannot be used to purchase bakery, honey, maple syrup, flowers, crafts, etc. Each coupon is worth $1.00 only to be exchanged for food. NO change will be given. Try to match the cost of your purchase to the value of the coupon. Treat these coupons like money; they cannot be replaced. All coupons must be used by December 31, 2025.
