Katie brings more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa and her Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Nebraska. She is an active member of the Iowa Mental Health Counselors Association and the American Mental Health Counselors Association, serves on the State of Iowa’s Dyslexia Board, and leads Decoding Dyslexia Iowa, a nonprofit advocating for students with learning disabilities.
